Pod Point signs preferred supplier deal with AXA Commercial
The three-year agreement aims to support AXA Commercial on its EV charging offering and commitment to reducing carbon emissions.

We’re thrilled to have signed a preferred supplier deal with AXA Commercial, a leading provider of commercial lines insurance.
The three-year agreement makes us AXA Commercial’s preferred home and workplace charging partner on a referral basis, with customers introduced to Pod Point for their EV charging requirements. The arrangement extends to business customers who purchase commercial lines insurance across AXA Commercial’s motor and motor trade products.
Referred customers will be eligible for preferential rates, with all charger installations handled by our expert team of installers. Once ordered, we'll carry out the consultation, delivery, installation, and activation of the chargers.
With businesses increasingly looking to make more sustainable choices, AXA Commercial expanded its product range in 2022 to provide a greener fleet option and introduced an EV proposition for its motor customers. As preferred suppliers, we’re able to help AXA Commercial offer its customers a seamless solution for integrating EV charging into their operations, supporting its commitment to reduce carbon emissions as part of the United Nations-backed Race to Zero campaign.
In addition to supporting AXA Commercial’s business customers with home and workplace charging solutions, we’ll be the insurer’s preferred EV charging provider for AXA’s company premises and employees under the agreement.
Earlier this year, AXA Commercial and Pod Point also joined forces to create a working group in collaboration with the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV), the British Fire Services Association, the University of Edinburgh, and the local authority for the City of London. By pooling their collective expertise and knowledge of the sector, the group aims to establish best practices around EVs and EV charging, drive innovation and promote the widespread adoption of EVs.
