Pod partners with Zapmap on public EV charging payments
Integration with Zapmap's payment solution will deliver seamless charging experiences for Pod's public network users

Pod has partnered with Zapmap as a payment partner, simplifying the EV charging payment experience for users of its extensive public network. As well as providing a range of EV charging solutions for homes and businesses, Pod operates public Pod Point chargers that make up one of the UK’s largest AC networks in the UK. Zapmap utilisation data shows that it covers approximately 10 per cent of all public charging sessions.*
Zapmap users can now pay for charging quickly and easily in the app at over 5,000 publicly accessible Pod chargers across more than 1,500 locations, including at Tesco supermarkets as well as key shopping, leisure, hotel and restaurant destinations throughout the country. Pod’s charging network joins over 50,000 other chargers across 40+ networks already integrated into the Zapmap payment solution, spanning on-street, destination and en-route charge points, with more being integrated all the time.
Zapmap users can add a credit or debit card and use it to pay for EV charging, providing a simple way to pay across networks from within the familiar Zapmap app. The payment solution was launched with a mission to include all the key charge point networks across the UK and means drivers can avoid having to use different payment methods across various charge point operators.
Drivers paying with Zapmap are also able to view their charging history, receive live status updates and download receipts to track their spending. They can also use both Apple Pay and Google Pay on all devices that accept payment through Zapmap.
