Your Pod Point charger will work without Wi-Fi, but you'd be missing out on some great features.

With a stable Wi-Fi connection, you can smart charge and earn cash with Pod Rewards, lock your charger remotely, get insights into your charging activity, manage solar charging, and keep your charger up to date with automatic software updates — all through the Pod Home app.

If you're on a subscription, keeping your charger connected to Wi-Fi is a requirement of the service.

So while charging is still possible without it, a Wi-Fi connection is what unlocks the full experience.
