Yes. Our Pod Point Solo 3S chargers come with solar integration, meaning you can charge your vehicle with solar power or a mixture of solar and grid energy. Simply activate solar through the Pod Home app and set your preferences, using the in-app functions below:

Charge with solar only - allows you to charge purely using excess solar energy - ideal for very sunny days where lot of solar energy is generated. Charging only starts when 1.4kW of solar power is available.

Top up solar from the grid - allows you to use excess solar energy, topped up with energy from the National Grid - ideal for cloudier days when you have excess solar energy you want to use up but you need some energy from the grid (EVs require a minimum of 1.4kW to begin charging).

Any EV charging completed using electricity from solar will not earn cash for Pod Rewards.
