Smart charging FAQs

For general support with your Pod Point charger, you can use our handy Help Centre or if you would prefer to speak to someone, please email us at beta@pod-point.com.

Simply download our new Pod Point Home app when prompted in our current Driver app. You’ll need to log in using your usual account credentials. Once you’re logged in, you will be asked to enter information about your car, and when you would like it to be charged by each day.

As our new Home app is currently in development, there are some features you will still need your Driver app to manage. We’re developing new features in our Home app all the time, here’s the current list.

If you are on a Smart Tariff such as Intelligent Octopus, Octopus Agile, or Ovo Charge Anytime, then unfortunately you can’t sign up.

1. Check that the login details used are correct, by signing into your car manufacturers app.
2. Using the same login details, retry connecting your car in the Pod Point app.
