Velocity modular charging instructions

The charging instructions vary depending on whether you start your session directly or via the Pod Point app.

Contactless payment

Check the status of the charging cable via the touchscreen and press the corresponding button. Rapid chargers require you to have a minimum of £5 in your account balance to start a charge.

Plug in your vehicle. The display panel will confirm when the plug is connected successfully.

3. Close car doors

Some makes and models of cars will not charge if the car doors are open. Please close the doors and lock the car to ensure charging starts.

4. Start and confirm your charging session

Tap your bank card over the payment terminal on the charger. A specified amount will be temporarily held and updated once you've finished your charging session.

Press the 'Stop' button on the charger and remove the cable.

6. Payment confirmed

Your payment will be processed and the terminal screen will display how much you have been charged.
